Leadership
Mouhamadou Madana Kane
Mouhamadou Madana Kane is the founding Chairman and CEO of iCapital Group. A dual banker and lawyer, he has over 17 years of experiences in the financial and investment sector. Prior to creating iCapital Group, he served as the Managing Director of the Islamic Bank of Senegal between 2020 and 2023. He previously worked as chief legal counsel at the Islamic Development Bank in Jeddah, KSA where he led the financing of over hundred of public and private sector projects in various sectors including energy (electricity, oil & gas and renewables), infrastructure (roads, transports, water), agriculture, health, education, and financial sector development across various jurisdictions in Africa, MENA, and South-East Asia. He graduated with an MPA from the London School of Economics and Political Science (UK) and holds a Ph.D in International Investment Law from the Cergy-Pontoise University (France) as well as a certificate in banking and finance from Boston University (US)
